The prices are messed up because many people stopped farming at Marsh and went straight to ruins for their levels. And from what I can see is that, less people farming in Ruins these days. So the chem price rise to a crazy level.
Normally it is like 26K for Low Ess, 28K for High Ether and 32K for Enthric. For Gem1 and 3. Take an example, G1 are now like 75-85K G3 like 1.5mil
With such a high cost in making a Gem7 and possiblity to fail. Crafters are pushing up the price to cover their cost. Simple economics.
Unless people realize that they should slow down levelling or making new farming Chars. The price will not go down.
Also, as someone said, more and more high refine lvl 200 weapons in the game, so people are getting more and more Gem7 for those weapons.
